About Our School
What Makes Us Special
Imagine…
if your children walked into their school
and the rest of the world disappeared...
they had a new best friend every day...
in a place where kindness is the guiding principle.
This is the place...
Welcome to Mission View Elementary School
We teach the value of college and career from day one, working with our children, learning communication skills and self-advocacy so they can achieve their dreams.
Mission View Elementary is a Dual-Language school offering a variety of programs for students and parents.
Opening Minds through the Arts (OMA)
We are excited to have a full-time OMA/Mariachi teacher and we offer Music Exploration for Kinder, 1st and 2nd graders, 2 lessons per week. Our 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders receive Mariachi lessons, also 2 lessons per week.
Dual Language

About After School
21st CCLC (HOWL Time)
Howl Time is offered thanks to a 21st CCLC grant. It is a five year grant designed to fund our extended learning program. The program offers free academic support and enrichment classes such as: art, garden, Legos, Folklorico*, STEM, puppetry, sports, cooking, computers, and games. Check with the office for details on this semester's offerings and availability.
*Note some classes such as Folklorico may require students to purchase the dance costume attire or leave a deposit for use of loaner costumes. Students may also need to arrange for transportation to various locations at times since this is a performance class which performs at various events off campus.
